Bonnie Flores
Bonnie chairs the Development and Public Relations sub-committees. She’s never gardened before, but as a caterer and personal chef, she loves to use the freshest produce and herbs in her cooking. By surrounding herself with seasoned gardeners, she’s been able to enjoy the fruits, make that veggies, of her labor.

Robin Fox
My regular job is in real-estate. I’m the owner/broker of “Fox Realty, LLC” and specialize in new construction. However, my true calling and loves are gardening and rescuing Golden Retrievers. Working with the Community Garden has brought to me much joy and good ol’ exercise. It’s a wonderful outlet for socializing with fellow gardeners and there is not much better than getting your hands dirty in God’s Miracle Earth.

Ramon Ortega
Ramon is the garden coordinator. He works for APS as the Northwest Division Forestry Coordinator and is a Certified Arborist.

David Sawyer, Master Gardener
David, chair of the Grounds Design & Maintenance sub-committee, grew up in upstate New York in a family where a large garden was an integral part of the family food source. Freezing and canning vegetables were part of the summer routine which instilled an appreciation of fresh produce that carried over to his gardening today. He’s currently employed by H.U.S.D. in as the Cook at Granville Elementary School.

Pauline Schaffer
Pauline is native to Arizona and enjoys every aspect of gardening – from feeding the soil, to planning next season’s garden to bringing in the harvest. She has been gardening since 1983. To her, gardening means doing everything organic, using only heirloom seeds and saving those seeds. She loves gardening and has no problem picking off those pesky bugs if the ladybugs need a little help!

Rodney Schaffer
Rodney has been gardening in Arizona since 1968. When he was in his 20s he had 1 acre under production and was selling food at the swap meet. Back then he was also a bee keeper for seven years. He has been landscaping for 30 years and has been a licensed contractor for 13 years here in the Prescott area. His company is Your Own Retreat Landscaping Inc. He feels extremely blessed that he is able to make a living at what he loves to do.
